Not In The Face – TOUR TIPS

This new set of Tour Tips was written by the rock band, Not In The Face. You can check out their tips for being on the road, after the break.

1) If you’re going to break up. Wait until you get off tour. Respect the music enough to not leave your band mates hanging. Even if you hate their fucking guts.

2) If it’s not fun anymore, quit. Nobody wants to hear you complain about how hard it is to be in a touring band. Sorry dude. No sympathy.

3) You don’t HAVE to drink EVERY night.. Though you’ll try. But you don’t have to.

4) Get supplies before you leave for tour. Save your $$$. Bananas, oranges, water, LOTS OF WATER, granola bars, a coffee maker, coffee, motor oil, tools, condoms, ear plugs, sleeping masks, a hoodie. There’s no place like home in a hoodie with ear plugs and a sleeping mask.

5) Be nice to everyone at every venue. Even if they’re dicks. You can talk shit after you get paid. And for God sakes, learn the sound guy or gals name. Their band is probably way better than yours.
