We are a live-based band, so getting a good stretch is always important… we always give our ALL! Before our stretch, there is always a pre-show meeting (AKA production/safety meeting). Once we are side stage, most of the time I see Nate and Jeremy, beer in hand, pacing in 8ft circles. I often wonder if their speeds will sync up… similar to waiting for your turn signal to match up with the guy in front of you at a stoplight. Ben likes to do some vocal warm ups and sip on his “singer sauce” while I just tend to jump up and down and scream real loud.
After our individual shenanigans, we come together in a huddle. By now we are clear minded. A few inspirational words are spoken, somebody cracks a joke, and we feel like none of our feet are even touching the ground anymore… then, typically somebody rips one, and we make a break for the stage and proceed to melt faces!
