09 – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the hard rock duo, 09, reveals who they would want on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks, after the break.

This is a fun question but a tough one! We look up to so many different bands, a tour featuring some of our favorite artists and biggest inspirations would be totally zany. Like, 09 opening for Thrice, Silversun Pickups, and KISS? How about Coheed and Cambria and City and Colour? It’d be a dream to play with scene vets like Underoath, Norma Jean, Bring Me The Horizon, or Architects. Some of those guys were the reason we wanted to play music like this back in high school, and being able to share this with them would be incredible!

If we could get one band back together and go on a run of club shows with, it’d be Letlive. Those guys were insane, the way they’d tear these small shows apart. It was sad to see them go just as they started to pick up some steam in the mainstream, but they were a major influence on how we strive to inject that passion into everything we do.

Our dream tour though, to be honest, would be one with all of our best friends—09’s whole model revolves around collaborating with other artists. We don’t have a single voice representing what we do, so we get to explore different genres and play around with things we may not otherwise would have been able to. We’d be so stoked to tour with all of them at once, bringing each of them on stage to perform their track. Their bands are insane too—Glacier Veins, Northlander, Fallstar. Andrew Serino is an unreal talent, doing his solo thing, and Jamie Curry is probably the funniest person we’ve ever made music with. A tour like that would let us really show people what our music is all about—making something you love with the people you love.
