1. I always stretch first thing in the morning. Lunges are my favorite. They loosen up a tight back after driving long hours. I also like downward dog.
2. Always have organic peanut butter around because it’s so easy to eat crappy food on the road so the peanut butter is a healthy substitute that keeps me feeling full until I can find a decent meal. I also drink water religiously. It helps fight sickness and keeps me full.
3. I practice my set every day. I like having it down well enough where I can switch things up if I want to and not get lost. It also allows me to explore new ideas/songs.
4. Exercise 5-6 times a week. My favorite is perfect push-ups, resistance bands, running and burpees because they’re all easy to do on the road.
5. Meditation every day. I first started meditating when I was 15 but didn’t get serious about it until two years ago. My head is always running and if I don’t contain it I have a tendency to overthink a lot of things. The meditation helps me stay focused and maintain a healthy mindset.
