Hey, this is Miles from Ænimus checking in with Digital Tour Bus. We are out on the “Breaking Rad” tour right now with Lifeforms up until April 27th, then we will be starting the second part of the “Breaking Rad” tour, where we will be touring with Bermuda, Aechoes, as well as Aethere until May 11th. We are looking forward to seeing all of you at each show we play!
The first five out of twenty four dates of this tour have been good. We started off the first night of tour by playing with Aborted and Kataklysm at the DNA Lounge in San Fransisco. That show was very awesome, as well as a great way to start off the tour. The following day we met up with Lifeforms at The Boardwalk in Sacramento and played with some other local bands we know. After that, we headed to Las Vegas with a nice twelve hour drive from Sacramento. From there, we went to The Nile Theater in Arizona, then today we were in New Mexico at The Gasworks.
As cool as the shows have been, the entire tour hasn’t been a slice of cake. The first day of the tour we went to run some pre-tour errands. One of the stops we made was at Safeway in Fairfield, CA. We all went in to get various items, we checked out, went outside to the car, and we see shattered glass on the front passenger side. I lost my backpack which had all sorts of medication, prescription glasses, cables, and other personal belongings. At that point that really sucked, but we all had the mentality of “Well, we got the bad out of the way early.” That was until we were almost to Albuquerque and one of our trailer tires blew up. It wasn’t quite a blow up, but the wheel well bent into the back side of the tire and kind of turned the tire into what looked like a mix of spaghetti and shredded wheat.
We look forward to writing more for Digital Tour Bus as the tour goes on and we accumulate more stories. We would like to thank Sojourner Booking, Life Force Records, Stone Design, Ladies of Metal, Pin Up productions, In Tune Picks, Deathcore Specialists for sponsoring this tour. Also, we would like to thank Digital Tour Bus for featuring us in their blog.
See you all next week with more content and cool stuff.
