Alex O’aiza – DREAM TOUR

Touring is a very tricky thing and a completely separate animal on its own within the music business. As I navigate my career within the music industry, I hold many hopes and dreams of meeting and becoming acquainted with many artists and bands that I admire. With this in mind, when someone asks me “What would be your dream tour?” my mind immediately thinks of a line up consisting of The Maine, The Arctic Monkeys & Oasis.

THE MAINE
The Maine is the first band on this list because they have been my longtime musical heroes and served as the inspiration behind me deciding to pursue a career in the music industry. The Maine is a Pop-Rock indie band from Tempe, Arizona. These guys are everything I want to become in the future, and I strive to learn and emulate as much as I can from them. From the way, they handle their business as a band, to their poetic lyrics that never cease to connect with every piece of my soul, to keeping their moral and artistic integrity throughout their career…all the way to staying consistently living life with genuine kindness and humbleness. These guys to me are the living proof that anything in life is possible when you set your mind to it. They live life unapologetically, and on their own terms. The Maine is never afraid to seek happiness even if it means taking major risks in their career, or in life. Touring with my heroes one day would be a dream come true!

ARCTIC MONKEYS
Arctic Monkeys would be the second band I’d add on my dream tour – I mean c’mon…it’s The Arctic Monkeys! Truly, a revolutionary band at the forefront of the 21st Century the indie scene. Arctic Monkeys have classic bangers throughout their entire repertoire, and are also the authors of one of my top ten favorite albums of all time, “AM”. I’d be going crazy backstage watching their set! I have not had the pleasure of catching their set live yet, but if I were to get the chance to do so through a tour… well, what can I say? I would have successfully lived a happy and fulfilled life.

OASIS
My third and final band would most definitely be the legendary English rock n roll band Oasis. The Gallagher brothers have been fairly controversial figures throughout their career, but their lyrical and musical charisma is definitely worth admiring. These guys are legends! Their music is so well known throughout the world, that no matter what Karaoke bar you stumble into, you will always have the whole bar singing at the top of their lungs if you Karaoke to classic songs such as: “Don’t Look Back In Anger”, “Wonderwall”, & “Stand By Me”. Their music is so damn infectious and having their energy tag along would absolutely be the perfect way to wrap up my dream tour.
