All The Rest – CRAZY TOUR STORIES

In this Crazy Tour Stories segment, the alternative rock band, All The Rest, talk about some of their crazy moments from touring. You can check out the feature, after the break.

Hey, what’s up guys, we’re a band called All The Rest. First of all huge thank you to Digital Tour Bus for having us on to share some crazy stories with you guys. Where do we even start? There’s so many. Most of them may be best be kept secret.

One our favorites is the time we hit a dead deer in the middle of the interstate driving home from a late night show. It doesn’t sound that bad, but when you experience the utter horror of such a thing, you’ll understand. We had played some lame bar gig with a stage decorated for Halloween in January. It was about 3 a.m. and we were all super tired and just ready for the night to be over with. About 45 minutes into the drive home, BAM, the cars front end flew up as if we hit a ramp and our trailer popped up on and barely stayed on the hitch. We didn’t quite know what had happened, but we definitely knew we had blown out a tire. We pulled over to check if everything was all good and when Tre grabbed the spare tire out from underneath the car – that’s when we noticed the guts and the horrible smell. Quite cringe worthy and enough to make you puke! By now you have figured out it was a dead buck in the middle of the interstate just waiting for a good time. About that time another car had hit the poor guy and not long after that, ANOTHER car hit it. We called the cops to let them know what was up and then proceeded to change our tire. Changing the tire was not so fun either considering it was dripping all over us and the smell was so bad. Honestly, that’s pretty much the end of the story. We got the spare on and went home. So RIP to interstate deer, you showed us a disgusting time.

Another time we were pulling out of a parking lot at a show and we ran over someone’s corn hole boards. If you don’t know what corn hole is, it’s a game where people throw bean bags into the wooden boards with holes in them. People are religious about it here in the South. Later we got contacted by a very pissed man about his corn hole boards and demanded compensation. We never replaced them.

Another short one was at a show close to home and It was someone’s birthday. So this drunk lady put her finger in the icing off her cupcake and then shoved her finger in Jud’s mouth. It was amazing.

We have quite a time on the road, and we’re looking forward to making more stories in the future.
