Amazonica – CRAZY TOUR STORIES

In this Crazy Tour Stories segment, the alternative rock artist & dj, Amazonica, shares one of her stories from being on the road. You can check out the story, after the break.

I’m on tour opening up for Marilyn Manson across America for his Heaven Upside Down Tour. It’s my 1st tour of America and it’s LITTY LIT LIT as F. There are so many crazy stories from that tour but this one I found the coolest and just totally mystical.

We’ve all made it through traveling across the country in the dead of winter from Pheonix to Las Vegas to Los Angeles, through middle America, snowstorms traveling over the Rocky Mountains, Up to Canada, Chicago, and lastly the great state of New York.

It had been one of the best experiences of my life, even though I got into a few sticky situations with my crew and the van in the middle of nowhere but that’s another story.

So here we are somewhere in deep New Jersey, I’m sad and happy, it’s bittersweet leaving such an incredible ride. The USA audiences dug my sets and I loved being so hoped up on adrenaline jumping in the van after the shows with glitter running down my face listening to American Rock Radio driving in the dark every night.

I’m stood outside the backstage door having a cigarette right in from of Manson bus, everyone starts preparing for his exit. As he steps off the Tour bus A FLOCK OF BATS appear OUT OF NOWHERE and fly over him as he walks over to me and says ‘Tonight you’re singing mOBSCENE with me’.

Which I did and killed it. End Scene.
