Hard to say who would be on the final bill of the “Apollo LTD Dream Tour 2018”. Whoever closes out the night has got to have the hits. We are talking the smashes. I mean we need a headliner to justify the $285 minimum ticket price. We also need to fill every arena and football stadium in the continental US. That being said…. Here is the line up as it stands…
Apollo LTD (start time 430PM CST) – Humbly volunteers to open the night… we negotiate our set length up from 15 minutes to 20 with a 2-minute changeover.
Our good ol’ fried chicken bro Dave Grohl and the Foo’s would ACTUALLY kick things off with a mind numbing 15 min set. Next up, The Killers would make us all cry tears of nostalgic joy immediately followed by Kendrick Lamar featuring Chance the Rapper featuring Kanye circa 2005 Graduation/College Dropout also featuring Daft Punk. Backing band for Kendrick is 1/3 of the roots with? Love, 1/3 of Parliament Funkedelic featuring George Clinton as guest background vocalist and 1/3 of Toto…….we will let your imagination run wild with who will be appearing from Toto… Lets just say… he plays the keys like Rick Astley and Richard Marx sings a love song.
Needless to say… after that set we will all need a 20-minute intermission. Which is why we booked Lauryn Hill for the intermission cause we all know she won’t show up anyway.
We pick back up the second half of the night with the Apollo LTD tribute project created specifically for this tour. (we are honored and humbled by the gesture) John Mayer and Steve Jordan with Pino Palladino along with Stevie Wonder and Flea round out a dueling bass guitar driven rhythm section. They play all of the Apollo hits from the years in a matter of 20 mins. (It’s truly an honor… and we are truly humbled)
Paul McCartney closes out the night with Sgt. Peppers front to back. It’s epic and we all cry together. And then Jesus returns.

Keep up with the duo on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
