Baby in Vain – CRAZY TOUR STORIES

In this Crazy Tour Stories segment, indie rock band, Baby in Vain, talk about some of their crazy moments from touring. You can check out the feature, after the break.

The last time we were on tour in the US, we had these crazy long drives… The longest was Pomona CA to Cincinnati OH. We totally lost our minds.. we’re not used to long distances in Denmark. Anyway this one night we were on our way to Denver and had a motel booked to stay on the way there. So we arrive at the motel in the middle of the night, go and get the key to the room.. then we try to find the room, but the room number is not on any of the doors. We look around a bit longer only to find an open door and the number of the room fallen off the door. At this point, it all seems very sketchy. We turn on the lights in the room and there’s blood on the blankets… We then asked for another room but got an even worse room, so we quickly asked for our money back and escaped. The problem now was that there were still 6 hours to go to Denver and no available rooms anywhere on the way, so our driver had to just bite it and we ended up driving for like 16 hours in one day.
