1. JUNK FOOD IS GOOD
Unlike restaurant food which can be new to your body, fast food and especially candy bars will always be the same from town to town and country to country. Therefore your digestive system is already well primed to receive these treats. We recommend McNuggets and Snickers.
2. NO SIGHTSEEING
Many bands are tempted to check the local zoo or art museum during a stop, but these events are very likely to influence your cultural and philosophical outlook, and could potentially interfere with your musical aesthetic. To keep the tour performances focused and on brand, we recommend keeping these outings to a minimum. Sightseeing is strictly forbidden on our tours.
3. CHECK YOUR CABLES
Cables use a layer of shielding to protect them from outside electromagnetic signals, but this shielding can wear down and interfere with power cables and even set fire and explode! So check your cables for ground loops and hum. Also, gold-tipped high-end cables are just a marketing ploy, sound frequencies travel just as well through traditional metals as shown in multiple double blind studies.
4. CLASSICAL MUSIC
Studies show that classical music calms the brain more than other forms of music such as hip-hop and hard rock. But studies also show that classical music can be extremely boring and lame. So our findings are inconclusive as to the amount of classical music that should be played in the touring vehicle, but we would certainly recommend at least a sonata between cities.
5. BAND PSYCHOLOGY
Multiple personalities come with multiple egos. The part of your brain that controls empathy and social interaction will be challenged. So exercise your minds by sitting in a van for two to three hours each day before a tour with a strongly opinionated (preferably republican) person.
