Ben Ellis – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the indie pop artist, Ben Ellis, reveals who he would want on his ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks, after the break.

There are so many artists I would love to go on tour with! I’ve always dreamed of being on tour with Ed Sheeran. I think he’s always been such a huge inspiration given how he got into the industry. He always gives off an amazing sense of honesty to his name and I feel like I would have so much to learn from him. Also, he is touring stadiums now, so I don’t really think anything could be as incredible as when that many people are singing along to your songs. I think it would be an awesome thing to watch day in and day out. I remember when he came to Cardiff, (my hometown), during his Divide Tour, and I managed to go three times out of his four dates there. I never got sick of it; it was such a cool thing to see.

More recently, I’ve been obsessed with artists like Lizzie Mcalpine, Holly Humberstone, Sam Fender, Lawrence, Phoebe Bridgers, and Finneas, so if I ever had the opportunity to be at a gig with any of them let alone play with them, I would lose my mind. I think there is so much to learn from all these artists. I mean, one of the reasons I would want to tour with Sam Fender is because he just seems like a real stand-up guy! He just seems like he’d be a legend on a night out. I think some of my favourite memories with my mates have been after we’ve been jamming and gone to the pub afterwards, so I feel like there would be plenty of moments like that!

I think my dream tour would definitely be with my friend Izabel. We kind of started our journey together so I hope there is a moment in time where we can perform together. She’s always been a huge inspiration of mine and being on tour would be the most insane experience for both of us. I really hope that I can work with a load of artists in the future. I really can’t wait to see what’s in store!
