Beren Olivia – FIRST CONCERT EVER

In this First Concert Ever segment, the electro pop artist, Beren Olivia, talks about the story of her first experience with live music. You can check out the story, after the break.

I grew up on artists like Avril Lavigne, Christina Aguilera, and P!nk. During my early teenage years, I started listening to more pop music and fell in love with artists like Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Taylor Swift.

As a surprise, my dad had booked tickets to Rhianna’s 2011 tour ‘Loud’ at The O2 Arena in London. He picked me up from school early that day and we went straight to the train station.
As well as it being my first concert, it was my first time being in an arena. The atmosphere and energy bouncing off the walls filled me with so much adrenaline and excitement.

I was totally in awe of her. Her voice, her dancing, her stage presence. She even did a drum solo. I can’t wait for the day I get to go The O2 for a concert of my own.
