Over the years I’ve had the chance to share the stage with some pretty incredible artists like Marilyn Manson, The Offspring, and Black Label Society. Touring around the world is something many don’t have the chance to experience, and when you do it creates some of the best memories of your life. Not only do you get to play the music you love, but you also get to see the world on behalf of your own business (music is not only a passion, but you can make a living doing it!). For 2017 and beyond, my idea of a dream tour in support of my new album CHROME would be:
US, UK and Canadian tour with The Artic Monkeys, Phantogram, Nick Murphy, Garbage and Betty Moon
This tour blends multiple genres, generations, and some incredible musicians all around. Feeling the presence of these artists sharing one platform in front of thousands of respectful fans would be cloud 9 in my book. The Artic Monkeys are one of music’s hottest rock groups and I can’t get enough of their music, it’s a no brainer to have them headline. Their guitar tone, soul, and modern rock vibe easily crosses over and wins the ears of those who may write off most new rock artists. Phantogram has been riding right under the radar for years now and they have such an original sound, it’s also nice to finally see them get the mainstream recognition they deserve after all this time. Chet Faker has caught my ear as of late (now just Nick Murphy), and believe me his cover of “No Diggity” is just the surface of how amazing he is. His live version of “Gold” reminds me of some Berkley boys I hung out and jammed with in Boston. Garbage is a personal favorite of mine, and their music easily stands the test of time and Shirley Manson’s energy and stage presence is simply unrivaled. Plus, I’d love to meet her…not too much to ask right??
Each stop would be at the hottest outdoor amphitheater, arena or large club in the city, giving as many music fans the chance to attend as possible. Between sets would be a DJ who curated music favorites from all 4 artists on tour, and visuals on stage and throughout the venue will celebrate life and how special music is to all of us. Large scale production you say? OF COURSE! Let’s give the fans the most bang for their buck, and also show them the time of their life. As we all know, when we were going to our first shows those times left a huge impression on us. This dream tour would do the same for all that attend.
This tour would be in support of my new album CHROME, a 12 song journey including feel good singles including “Sound” which is already causing a stir in the industry. To share the song and others from my discography would undoubtedly be an opportunity of a lifetime.
Keep up with the artist on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
