Okay, okay, we realize this is totally far-fetched and a DREAM TOUR, but honestly, we should be pretty comfortable there, right? since we did write a conceptual album titled “Awake While Dreaming”!! =) Anyway, for our dream tour, we’d absolutely have to include Anberlin. First, because we did a collab with Stephen Christian where he sang on one of our songs, so it would be amazing to have him join us on stage. Secondly, because all three members of Between the Echoes have been longtime fans of the band… we’re talking for nearly two decades fans! We’ve seen them tour and their dynamic energy on stage is what concert dreams are made of! (bad pun, I know! ) Musically their projects are similar in many ways to our band and it would be a very natural fit!
Our next dream pick would be My Chemical Romance…. Obviously, we’ve drifted off to dreamland again, but that would be off the charts amazing! This band, simply put, is just outright EPIC! Another band, we have followed from the early 2000s and continually fallen in love with each new release. Musically every single detail is perfectly placed to create a theatrical experience for the listener/concert goer, which is hard to top! Just being present for their performances is out of this world, but to tour with them would be completely surreal!
Our last choice is a toss-up between Circa Survive and Saosin… why, you ask, well because of Anthony Green of course! Musically Saosin has been such a big influence on the band over the years. Their “smart” guitars are loaded with ear candy and with every listen you find a new treasure buried in your head (yep, just did that, if you know, you know!) Anyway, the consciousness embedded in each Circa Song is mesmerizing and keeps us always coming back for more. Both bands bring infectious vocals, and music that is downright pleasure to the ear! A tour with either would be what dreams are made of!
