Bingx – PRESHOW RITUALS

In this Preshow Rituals segment, the hip hop artist, Bingx, shares what he does before taking the stage. You can check out the feature, after the break.

I walk around the venue and see the vibe. Every city has a different culture; there is no telling what kind of fans/potential fans you have waiting out there. After I peep the energy I start pacing. I am a huge pacer, I pace between 7 and 13 miles a day ( According to my FitBit ). While I pace I put in headphones, a lot of times I have nothing playing in them, just noise cancelation for my thoughts. It also deters people from approaching me with things. On this previous tour, I would grab a red bull beforehand at some of the shows, not quite sure if it helped or not, I just gotta have something in my hands. I always pray right before I get on stage, god plays a big part in my life. As soon as you get on that stage. There’s fire in your chest. This is THE moment, when nothing else matters, leave it ALL on the stage and give them %110. That’s the Pre-show and during-show mind state.
