Blameshift – 2nd ROAD BLOG from the Beneath The Scars Tour with 12 Stones

Blameshift is currently on an awesome tour called the “Beneath The Scars Tour” with headliners 12 Stones, as well as supporting acts Digital Summer and Throwing Gravity! The band lead singer Jenny, will be writing a Road Blog entry once a week to keep you updated with everything that is going on with the tour. The second update can be read after the break.

Hey guys,

So, when Ieft you last we were heading into Nashville to play our first date with the newest addition to the tour, Throwing Gravity. We all hit it off immediately and we knew there was a lot more good times to be had. After our show in Nashville all the bands drove overnight so we could make it to our show in Toledo, Ohio the next day. Even I took a two hour driving shift which is pretty rare :)

After our Toledo show we split away from the tour for the weekend to play a music festival called “Rock’n the Valley” in Pecatonica, IL. It was a 2 day outdoor festival where we played 3 shows. The last show we played on Saturday night at 1am was the after party for headliners Warrant and Skid Row. It was definitely an experience we won’t soon forget.

We had two days off after the weekend and decided to get a campground outside Chicago with 12 Stones and Throwing Gravity. I have to say…in all my years of touring, it was definitely the best days off I’ve ever had. We went swimming, had a BBQ, and had corn hole and flip cup tournaments. After our mini vacation, it’s back to reality. The tour continues on through Illinois, Missouri, Ohio and Minnesota over the next few days.
