Blameshift is on their “Beneath The Scars Tour” with 12 Stones, Digital Summer, and Throwing Gravity. While on tour they will be writing periodic blogs for us. The third one can be read after the break.

Greetings from the Midwest. When we left off we were heading to South Barrington, IL to play at the Penny Road Pub. The venue added on a last minute addition to the show who happened to be our buddies from the east coast in a band called, Prospect
Hill. It’s always nice to see familiar faces out on the road. Next we headed to Rockford, IL to play at Bar 3. We had just played that Rock’n The Valley festival in the town over, so a lot of the new friends we met came out to hang!

After playing Cincinnati we made our way to Battle Creek, Michigan. I was super excited because half of my family lives in that town. I spent the entire day with my grandparents, aunt and 4 cousins before it was time to play at Planet Rock! It was definitely one of my favorite days on this tour so far.

After Battle Creek we played a show in Mounds View, Minnesota! Some friends in the area were nice enough to invite us over afterwards and all the bands on the tour once again got into some friendly competitions in ping pong and flip cup. I was almost named the ping pong champion after beating two of the guys from 12 Stones. But, at the end of the night I was taken down by Nick from Throwing Gravity. A rematch awaits… smile

Till next week…

Xoxo
