BONES UK - CRAZY TOUR STORIES

In this Crazy Tour Stories segment, Rosie Bones, vocalist/guitarist of the rock duo, BONES UK, shares one of her stories from being on the road. You can check out the story below:

We were doing a show in god knows where, with god knows who, the only god damn thing I do know is... when. It was about a week after our first album had been released in 2019. And like all good rock and roll bands we had decided on the first drive of the first day of this tour that it was only right to mark the occasion with BAND TATS. So I was on the lookout for an appropriate opportunity to present itself, when Eddy stumbled into our lives on around the 5th show. Eddy was high, reel high, real drunk and real high. Eddy spoke a lot and lurched from side to side as he rambled, he spoke of many things. His "kids he never saw," "his bitch of an ex wife Debby" and....AND....most importantly his job.....a..... (drum roll) TATTOO ARTIST. Without a second thought, like a divine sign from the good lord below, I grabbed our photographer Dav and told him we have to leave right now.

We jumped into Eddy's car, which seemed to be just the shell of a convertible with no seats or interior of any kind. Just an engine that seemed to make it splutter and purr. Where we arrived safely (barely) at his.....'studio.' Carmen and the rest of the gang arrived soon after. We proceeded to get tattoos of the date of our album release. Which got bigger and bigger the higher Eddy got. By the time it got to our poor photographer, his FIRST TATTOO ended up being almost the size of his forearm. Which in a hung over daze the next day led him to shout repeatedly "why is it so big?" "WHY IS IT SOOO BIG!?." While getting our "free tour tats” permanently scraped onto our bodies (we all got a second since we were there, and why not), Eddy asked us questions like "you don't mind sharing needles do you?." He then ended the night in mine and Carmen's hotel room.... crying.... about his "bitch of an ex wife" he thought about everyday and missed every part of his heart. God bless you Eddy.
