London was one crazy night and a lot of fun. After the crazy show, we headed down to Brighton where we stayed with one of our friends and call it a night! So far, the UK crowd has been amazing, so we are excited to see what the rest of Europe has to offer for BC13.
The following day we have the day off in Brighton, which is an awesome place to hang out. We had to wait for our new vehicle to arrive, so we went out and explored. We found a pier with a beach! Although there was no sand, just rocks before you hit the ocean, it’s a great sight to see! There was a lot of stuff going on and music happening, not to mention a guy dancing. Well, he was grinding with a blow up doll to some live reggae music.
About that time, it was time to head back, as we still had a long drive and ferry we needed to catch in order to make it to Europe! We finally arrive at the ferry and we can park our vehicle inside the boat and enjoyed our hour and a half ride to Paris! The boat was full of people and shops, which we walked around and went up to the top to enjoy the ocean breeze. Time went by fast and we arrive to Paris. We got some much needed rest and got ready for the day. We heard that the venue was on a boat, so we were stoked to see what this was all about. It was actually a venue on a boat, which is actually really rad and naturally, “I’m on a boat” sing along happens.
We loaded in and went backstage and our green room is this small room with a window & you see the water almost eye level & then start to feel the boat slightly move side to side. After a quick sound check, we had an interview that went pretty rad. The show turned out to be amazing as usual and we now know that Paris does know how to have fun. Next day we drove to Stuttgart, Germany for one of our last few shows at the Keller Klub, which usually turns out to be a blast and as we expected, it was. Our fans really know how to make it extra amazing and let loose. As the tour nearly wraps up, we drove to Berlin and had a day off to explore. We walked around the town, which had some cool sights from Lego Star Wars to Alexanderplatz, the 368 meter-high Fernsehturm ‘Television Tower’. Next day we had our show in Berlin, which was a blast as usual. Thank you Berlin. We have one more Germany show then were off to Russia!
