The Carbons – CRAZY TOUR STORIES

The craziest thing that ever happened on tour: One of the band members peed on one of our fans. Let me explain. Oh and to protect their privacy, let’s make Jerry the band member and Sally the fan…so to be clear, Jerry peed on Sally.

It was during our last winter tour and we had a short break at home in between tour dates. We spent a couple of days in the studio and decided to celebrate with a few friends before heading back on tour. We all had quite a few drinks and one of our fans from out of town asked if she could stay with us for the night so she didn’t have to drive back home that night. Although we didn’t know her well, she seemed super nice and so we set her up on our blow-up mattress when we went to bed around 5am. At 9am Sally woke me up saying she had to go home because Jerry had urinated on her. Half-awake, I couldn’t really tell if I was dreaming or not but when I finally woke up several hours later, Jerry denied the whole thing. We didn’t know what to believe because Jerry had been super drunk and high and we didn’t know Sally very well at all. Jerry was sleeping on the couch and said he couldn’t have possibly peed the same bed she was on. Plus his pants were dry. So what happened then? We started putting the pieces together throughout the day and finally made sense of it all. It so happened that Jerry was sleepwalking to the bathroom but didn’t quite make it. Instead, he pulled out his wiener in the middle of the living room and peed on the corner of the blow-up mattress. Unfortunately, Sally was sleeping on said mattress. Luckily she had borrowed PJs from me so her clothes were pee-free. Jerry apologized later that day and Sally forgave him almost immediately. We actually saw Sally a few weeks later… at our Show! She was in a great mood but I don’t think she’ll be staying with us anymore haha!
