My dream tour would be more like a festival for the ages. The dead or alive aspect is extremely important to me here because so many of the greats have passed away and left their legacies. I would want to be a part of a tour with the most classic artists of all time, classic in a way in which they made a mark on their genre and the culture of the world at the time.
Being a country artist, I would love to have Johnny Cash on this tour. I feel like he did not just sing but he had a voice with intense meaning and soul, you feel every word he sings even through recordings. I would also, of course, need Elvis Presley on this tour because he is so intrinsically unique while being so universally loved and appreciated. His spunk and style and talent go unmatched to this day, in my opinion. Next, I would love to have Linda Ronstadt. To me, Linda Ronstadt’s voice is fully thick as honey and has so much depth, what I would give to hear her voice live.
Elton John definitely also would have a place in my dream tour, performing alongside Lady Gaga. I feel like both of these artists do the most amazing job of connecting theatrics with music and in doing so they pull out the most intense emotions out of their listeners. Lastly, I would have Eric Church and Whiskey Myers on my tour. As am I, Eric Church is from North Carolina and you can hear his roots in his voice and songwriting. I love how he is so Appalachian while also being classic Nashville and rock. Whiskey Myers is an amazing act that deserves so much praise, the emotion in their music is unmatched as well as the vibe.
Keep up with her on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
