Chase the Bear – CRAZY TOUR STORIES

Where do I start oh my goodness, like any up-and-coming band we’ve had our share of wild moments from sleeping a six-piece rock n roll band on strangers’ floors in towns we’ve only been in once to blowing up our engine and having to get towed back to Vancouver from the Okanagan. The craziest in my opinion was when we had no idea we were headlining a festival before we left in the morning. We had gotten a gig and the event was called “Socials”, not overlooking the details too much we completely thought that “Socials” was the name of a bar we were playing. We packed up all our gear and headed out early in the morning because it was an eight or nine-hour drive away. When we pulled into town and headed over to the venue all the roads had police blockades in place, we joked “who the hell is playing, no one will be at the bar tonight” then we kept driving to the venue to discover we were headlining an outdoor festival called “Socials” to a crowd of 800 people. Anything can happen.
