In the last few years, one of our biggest musical influences has been hip-hop, whether that seems evident or not. In a way, hip-hop is the new rock and roll. It is primarily the most freely expressive genre of modern music, as well as being the one most related to partying and letting loose.

As a rock band, we’ve always strived to bring elements of hip-hop to our sound. Whether it be through the instrumentals, lyrics or just the emotion of the music. Our dream tour would very much reflect this. The bill would consist of us, ready the prince and Kendrick Lamar.

Ready the prince is an ultra tight groove machine of a rock band out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Along with what we do with our music, they bring an incredible almost hip-hop energy to there music and live performances that you really don’t see in rock music these days. They would be the perfect piece of the puzzle to get a crowd feeling good.

The idea of bridging a gap between hip-hop and rock shows is a dream of ours. there is a certain energy at our shows that we try to emulate that feels similar to that of a hip-hop show. Kendrick Lamar is the perfect example of high energy mixed with raw emotion, which is exactly what we are going for in our music. In no way could we ever compare ourselves to someone like Kendrick Lamar, but we can sure dream about it.
