Connor Evans – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the rapper/singer, Connor Evans, lets you know who he would like on his ultimate tour lineup. You can check out the feature, after the break.

This is a tough question because of where I’m at in my career. I’d put myself on a “mini” festival tour opening with Kanye and Arctic Monkeys, headlining with Chance the Rapper, Ed Sheeran, Frank Ocean, MGMT, Tory Lanez, Cherub, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Vic Mensa, BOB, Childish Gambino, Anderson Paak, Villz as the supporting music acts. We’d have a stand-up comedy stage during the daytime with Louis CK, Dave Chappelle, Tom Segura, Marc Maron, Hannibal Buress, and Jim Gaffigan. Also Michael Jackson and Prince holograms (kidding). It’d be a two-day event in each city with Kanye and Chance headlining. Kanye’s set design is wild and since this a dream I’d want everyone on the line up to work alongside him and the team at DONDA on putting together the entire production.

I’d want it to be a mini festival with its own personality and world created entirely around the event. I really admire the European festivals and how they create surreal fantasy worlds in the middle of forests and shit like that so I’d love to bring that to America. It’d be ridiculously cool to get something going in Joshua Tree, Big Sur, or Antelope Canyon. We would stick to only setting up in really dope surreal looking places in nature. I’d want to take this to South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia too.

This place would have fire food too. I’m talking world-class sushi chefs and wait for it…reasonably priced alcohol. We’d call it Church in the Wild.
