In this Dream Tour segment, the indie pop artist, Covert Joy, reveals who he would want on his ultimate tour lineup. You can check out his picks, after the break.

My dream tour would be something like the Suicide Squad, where at first glance people would look at us and go “there’s no way this can work,” but they would be wrong. So wrong.
First, I’d love to tour with Sia. I’m playing with anonymity with this first project, experimenting with masks for live shows. I want to use the disguise as a way to get people’s attention, as well as stay protected, much like Sia. Besides her gargantuan talent as a songwriter, she is a fierce performer and I’d love to do some songs with her on our tour (maybe even debut our ~soon to be made~ collaborations).
Second, I’d bring along Ariana Grande. I look up to her as someone who finally broke free of some of the shackles that come with being a pop diva, namely making more upbeat light material. She is exploring a darker side and I LIVE for it. On top of that, she has the voice of an angel and brings such an exciting energy when she performs live. Hopefully, I can leach off that a little.
Finally, no tour is complete without Cher, the ultimate diva. I’m happy to let her go on twitter tirades, so long as she does it off stage. My mom grew up listening to Sonny and Cher, watching their show, and all around being a super fan. I admire her greatly too, but this one would be for my mom who is coming along on the tour as my momager.

Keep up with him on Facebook and Instagram.
