Craw – PRESHOW RITUALS

In this Preshow Rituals segment, the hip hop artist, Craw, shares what he does before every show. You can check out his rituals, after the break.

For me, pre show rituals have changed over the years. When I was playing with a live band, we usually liked to circle up pray out loud before a show. These days I still pray before every show, but I usually do it on the low.

As crazy as it sounds, Red Bull is a ritual. I have to have a Red Bull before I hit the stage, I’m not sure why, or when it started, but that’s just the way it is, haha. If I get on stage without a Red Bull in me, it just doesn’t feel right.

Other than a spiritual connection and caffeine, I’m habitually early to shows. I’m an early person by nature and when it comes to performing, that doesn’t change. Nothing gives me more anxiety than being late.
