Craw – TOUR PRANKS

In this Tour Pranks segment, the hip hop artist, Craw, shares some pranks that have happened on tour. You can check out the feature, after the break.

I’m a really sarcastic person, all the time. My fiancé always tells me I need to practice being a bit more serious, it’s just really hard for me to do, except for when I’m about to hit the stage. When I’m getting ready to perform, something inside of me changes, and I flip the script. As much as I try to joke around, I get extremely focused and business oriented for a short time. Not because I take myself too seriously, but because it’s always important for me to put on a good show and leave 110% on the stage.

Although I do recall one time my rap partner Shizzy (of Character Assassins) and I were playing a show in Downtown San Diego. We were in the parking lot of the venue, shooting the shit and rehearsing.

Shizzy had just purchased a brand new car, which he was really proud of. I started leaning up against the car, with the intention of it being a joke that I would sit on the new toy he loved so much. In the heat of the moment, I somehow ended up hitting the wrong spot with too much force, and actually damaged the car. The joke was really on me because I looked like an ass, but luckily the damage was pretty minor and he was able to get it fixed.
