Cub Sport – CRAZY TOUR STORIES

One of the craziest/luckiest things that has happened to us on tour was in Singapore when we were playing at Music Matters. There’s a really amazing hotel in Singapore called Marina Bay Sands – it’s the one with the big infinity pool on the roof.

We were at a cheap hotel for most of our stay but decided to treat ourselves to one night at Marina Bay Sands ‘cause we really wanted to go in the infinity pool and you can only use the facilities if you’re staying there.

We’d booked one of the cheapest rooms available but when we were checking in, the concierge informed us that we’d been upgraded.

When we got out of the lift and saw that all of the rooms had double doors we started getting pretty excited. Our room ended up being a presidential suite, it was insane! We had two spas, our own gym, a hairdressing room, a massage room and access to our own butler which was a welcome change after weeks of sleeping on floors and squeezing into tiny hotel rooms.

We were way too excited about the whole situation and didn’t really end up sleeping, we were just hanging out eating and drinking all night. I felt sorry for our butler, we must have been super annoying.
