In this Dream Tour segment, the pop rock band, da22, reveals who they would want on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks, after the break.

As simple a question it may seem, an artist’s dream tour is a reflection of the heart of the music. Being a band inspired by so many different decades of music, our dream tour seemingly changes weekly. However, we were able to provide a list, while rather eclectic, an accurate representation of our biggest influences.

There was a band in the ’80s called PM. Their music, as far as we know, isn’t even available online. Sebastian, our singer, had an old CD from his dad in his car and turned us all on to them. There’s a song on there called “The Wanting” that we reference a lot for production and sounds. Also, just genuinely great songwriting.

Mineral. Perhaps the band on this list we owe the most to. Our debut single “callingallcars” was a nod to this time in music. The perpetual melancholy and angst that radiates from their songs are just so emotive. The name da22 was actually inspired by the lyrics in their song “&Serenading”.

Last on our list takes a more experimental turn. Brian Eno. We love ambient music, as it’s a true testament to sonic capabilities. It seems as if it’s the only genre of music where literally all the rules of music suddenly hold no weight. Our favorite part in producing our own music is taking these lawless elements and introducing them into traditional, pop structured songs. That juxtaposition will forever be exciting to us.

Keep up with the band on Instagram and Twitter.
