On our dream tour ”Power, Corruption & Lies” era New Order would open the show with ”Age of consent”. Peter Hook would, of course, treat the crowd to some improv/freestyle six-string bass stuff.
Following would be the headliners: ”Thriller” era Michael Jackson along with ”Graceland” era Paul Simon. They would both play those albums from start to finish ending with a ”You can call me Al” duet with Sting joining in on the bass solo. Oh, and did we mention that Prince plays the guitar on ”Beat It”? Well, he does on this tour.
We wouldn’t want the crowd to get too comfortable, so finishing the evening would be a job for ”Daydream Nation” era Sonic Youth, ending the evening with ”Teenage Riot”.
We would, of course, be backstage, hanging out with Chevy Chase enjoying this marvelous lineup.
Afterwards, as the crowd begins to leave thinking that the show’s over, Falco would make a surprise appearance performing ”Rock Me Amadeus” with Michael Jackson doing some fancy dance moves onstage. In our opinion, best show ever.
Keep up with the duo on Facebook and Twitter!
