Death Will Tremble – DREAM TOUR

At this point, about 4 months into a global pandemic with no idea when we’ll be able to play live again – absolutely any tour would be a dream tour. Put us in a van that’s going to break down every hour, on the hour, tell us we’re going to lose a couple thousand bucks, and let us play in people’s backyards for gas money. If any booking agents are reading this, we already have the broken down van covered so this is really a turnkey opportunity for you.

Just before this started we were set to open up for Hotel Books in our hometown of Austin,TX – that was going to be a dream show, for sure – so if we’re building out a dream tour they’re on the bill. I think Listener would open things up – I love the way they change the atmosphere of a room when they start performing, and I think that kind of sincerity sets the tone for this kind of a lineup. We’d have to get La Dispute involved, and probably make Poison The Well play “Nerdy” for 30 minutes straight. They probably wouldn’t be excited about it, but this our dream tour, so get over it dudes.

We’d play right after, and then bring out Crowbar for a healthy dose of sonic excess in its purest form while we cool down with a couple of frosty Coors Lights and a bottle of Tullamore Dew. And shit, since we’re dreaming, we’re probably having OutKast close that show out with Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, front to back, while we all smoke our own personal blunts. After all, this is a post-pandemic society.
