Doc Hammer shows as a whole, are generally known as a pretty “chill” experience. We like to turn the house lights down to a glow, light some candles (with matches), and really connect with the house. That being said, we don’t have a very deep pool of wild tour exploits. I guess if I had to choose the wildest night it would have to be that show we picked up in the Pacific Northwest after ours got canceled. We picked up another show through a local blogger connection one of our dudes knew and he told us the show paid a hundred bucks and free beer. Were all in at this point and set off towards the warehouse where the show is at.
We unload our gear, start to settle in, and start drinking. All wandering our separate ways. It’s almost time to play, so we all reconvene and start talking about the vibe. Somethings off. Oh ya! We realize how stupid we are and look around for a second and OMG! Nazi’s. We’re playing for a room full of goddamn Nazis. Look, long story short we accidentally witnessed this girl get murdered, got cornered like animals, had to kill a couple guys, oh yeah a couple of our guys died too… that was crazy, fought our way out of a Nazi stronghold, took down the leader of said Nazi stronghold, liberated the local area annnddd made it to our next show in Seattle the next night.
That was probably the craziest Doc Hammer Tuesday night tour story. Don’t even get me started on Fridays.

Keep up with the band on Facebook and Instagram.
