Dreamer & Son – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the rock band, Dreamer & Son, let you know who they would like on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out the feature, after the break.

The Dreamer Dream Tour consists of:
Young The Giant – As a young Indian singer in a scene where Indian singers aren’t abundant, it’s no surprise that I look up to Sameer Gadhia. Studying his authenticity and unique tone played a huge part in helping me find my voice. Having YTG on this tour is a must.
The Killers – When You Were Young has this anthemic euphoria to it that I’ve been chasing in my own songs. I’m sure Matt (guitars) would agree with me on the fact that The Killers’ guitar work has influenced much of our own. Matt has really garnered his own sound since, but there are traces of The Killers in there if you really listen. It’d be a real treat to tour with them.
Emarosa – This band has been my favorite band since middle school. I’ve followed them with every change they’ve gone through (vocalists, genres, etc). I wish I could elaborate on how much this band does for me, but it’s nigh impossible. They just came to me at the right time in my life. I’d be humbled to share a tour with them, honestly.
The 1975 – Visionaries. The 1975 are modern-day visionaries. They’ve created something entirely their own and somehow still managed to stay valid and relevant within the music industry. Jake (bass) and I love to watch Matt Healy’s interviews and take mental notes on how articulate and well spoken he is. Ross MacDonald’s bass writing and tonal choices have played its part in Jake’s unique take on bass playing. From even their Instagram to their live show, the whole thing is a production. Josh (drums) and I get so swept up in the entire aesthetic. They really do make you feel like you’re in a movie. Plus I want to do guest vocals on Sex. (Josh bought Jake and I tickets to see them for my 21st birthday so let’s give him a nice round of applause)
The show would be a couple of hours long. There would be confetti. There would be goodie bags. Everybody’s happy.

Keep up with the band on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
