In this Dream Tour segment, the metalcore band, Earthists., reveals who they would want on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks, after the break.

There is actually no end when I think about this kind of topic, but I would love to have the opportunity to tour with two bands that I’ve been obsessed with since I was a teenager.

The first band is MAXIMUM THE HORMONE, which is the band that got me into heavy metal music.

When I first got into them, they had released “What’s up, people?!’’. That song was the opening song for the show, Death Note, which is my favorite anime. This was the very first time I listened to heavy music and I was really shocked. They completely inspired me to discover more heavy music.

The second band is DIR EN GREY. I’ve been a big fan of them for 10 years. Same as MAXIMUM THE HORMONE, this band is one of the most influential bands in my life. It is not an overstatement to say that Earthists. couldn’t exist if I hadn’t listened to the album “UROBOROS”. Our vocalist Yui and bassist Shugo also are big fans of DIR EN GREY too.

Apart from this dream tour lineup, I would love to do a U.S. tour alongside some recent metalcore bands that have gained momentum in the last couple of years: Northlane, ERRA, and Crystal Lake. Also, I think this is not truly a dream tour unless I can tour outside of Japan with other Japanese bands from our generation. Some of those bands would include Paledusk and FOAD, plus many more.

Keep up with the band on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
