It was so fun to think about my dream tour lineup, but also SO hard because there are so many artists that I admire and would love to tour with. In the end, I narrowed it down to me, Maisie Peters, Norah Jones, and Taylor Swift. Selfishly, I would love to watch these artists perform night after night, but I also think they would make for a great blend of pop, singer/songwriter, folk, and jazz. Because this is my dream scenario, we would also be jumping onto each other’s sets for some amazing collaborations. I personally would need to hear Maisie Peters and Taylor Swift singing Psycho together!
Norah Jones was one of my earliest musical influences – my mom loved her music and would play her songs around the house all the time when I was little. She’s had a big influence on the way I sing, and I would love to get to watch her perform night after night. I’ve never seen her perform, but I think she would have such a calming energy that would be a great addition to the show.
Maisie Peters has been one of my favorite artists over the past year. Her songwriting is so clever and honest, and her music blends folk and pop similarly to my songs. I got to see her play a show in Nashville a few months ago, and she was such a great entertainer. She is absolutely hilarious – she connects and interacts with her crowd so well, and I think she would be so fun to tour with. Ideally, we would also become best friends along the way, lol.
Last but certainly not least, Taylor Swift would definitely have to be on my dream tour. I first started playing guitar and writing songs after seeing her Fearless Tour when I was 12, and she’s been one of my biggest influences ever since. Her shows are such an incredible experience, and I know I would learn so much from watching her perform and just being around her. We also both have songs called August, so of course, we would have to do some kind of mashup of the two, which would make my entire life.
I’ve never been on tour before, but maybeee one day it could be with one of these artists. A girl can dream!
Keep up with her on Facebook, Instagram and her website.
