Oh man. A dream tour lineup with all of my favorite artists? I think we’re going to have to make this a two-day festival lineup because there are just too many to choose from.
First of all, it would be a cool, fall day so that you can dance as much as you want without passing out from a heat stroke. I would open the show so that I could then sit back and watch in awe as the music gods and goddesses do their thing.
After me would enter James Bay to rock the house, joined later by John Mayer for a one of a kind live collaboration (naturally, a guitar solo battle would take place). Then we bring out Frank Ocean to give us the feels joined later by Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick gets us hyped with his set, but the fun has only just begun. On walks Ed Sheeran with his voice of an angel and acoustic guitar to show us that’s all you need to absolutely blow people’s minds. Now here comes Adele to just smash your heart out. Just when we thought we couldn’t take any more, we are blessed with a final set from the one and only Queen Bey. After Yoncé absolutely slays we have a closing performance from all of the artists doing a mashup of all of our songs. I barely get through the performance without breaking down into tears of pure joy and disbelief.
For day two of the festival we’re going to transport back into the 70’s for a Woodstock Pt. II. I’m not sure how time travel works so I may or may not kick us off again, all depending on whether I make it or not. Regardless, next we would have Fleetwood Mac to show us that thunder really does only happen when it’s raining (cue downpour?). After that comes the one and only, Mr. Bob Dylan to bring us all together for a moment of world peace followed by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. We’d then bring out some of our Woodstock Pt. I favorites: The Who, Janis Joplin, Hendrix… I could go on forever but we’ve only got so many hours. Lastly, to close out the show… wait for it… The Beatles AND The Stones to just absolutely tear down the house and rock it out until daylight.
