Farro (ex-Paramore) – CRAZY TOUR STORIES

In this Crazy Tour Stories segment, the alternative artist, Farro, talks about some of his crazy moments from touring. You can check out the feature, after the break.

One time while I was still in Paramore we were staying in a hotel/resort outside of LA. We asked the front desk what time the pool closed and they said to use it as long as we wanted to. So at around 11pm or so, the band, some crew members and I went swimming.

Shortly after we got out there two security guards rolled up in a golf cart. We all knew they were going to try to kick us out of the pool. They came up and said, “you guys know the pool is closed right?!” And we responded, “the front desk said we could use it as long as we want”. They were a little confused and walked back to their golf carts while calling the front desk.

The security guards came walking back into the pool area about 2 minutes later and said, “are you guys really the band Paramore?!” And we, of course, replied, “yes”. They were like, “no way?! That’s awesome use the pool as long as you want! Let us know if we can get you anything else” and one of us said back to them, “we will take a couple of those golf carts you’re riding.” They said, “ok cool just let us know”.

So we called them a little while later and they gave us two golf carts. Sure enough, we hop in them and start riding all over the hotel’s golf course in the middle of the night. We were going crazy having the time of our lives with the moon lighting up the whole golf course. Then the sprinklers came on to water the grass and we were riding through them. It was definitely one of the craziest things I’ve ever experienced on tour.
