Fiona Silver – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the rock artist, Fiona Silver, lets you know who she would like on her ultimate tour lineup. You can check out the feature, after the break.

The bands I’d love to tour with most would be Radiohead, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Alabama Shakes and my good friends The Liza Colby Sound. It would be an incredible sonic journey with people who really play from the heart. That’s what matters to me most. When I perform I pour my heart out, I leave it all on the stage… and when I write music I don’t think about having to conform to a genre or people please- I just let it come out.
These bands are all unique in that way too. When people ask me what type of music I play I usually say rock n roll, and soul… but there’s so much more to it. Can anyone really just say “Rock” when they think of Radiohead? They’ve created something entirely their own, and that’s what I love about them most.
My dream tour would be worldwide. I love to travel, and to have the ability to circle the globe in one trip would be incredible. I’d want to have a local band from each place open the show to give back, and show our support to other musicians too. We’d start in London, travel through Europe down to Greece, Egypt, fly down to South Africa, up to India, stop in Thailand, hit China and Japan, take a few days in Hawaii, travel all through South America, up to Mexico City, play the Greek Theater in LA, Red Rocks, and of course end it with a bang at Madison Square Garden… a place I’ve dreamed of playing since I was a kid growing up in NYC.
I imagine the experience would completely alter my reality and open me up to so many new cultures. I think I’d come back and write a whole new album about it! Ultimately, no matter where I am, it would be amazing just to share a stage with musicians I respect so much, who inspire people around the world.
