FOURS – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the alternative band, FOURS, let you know who they would like on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out the feature, after the break.

Dan: My dream tour lineup would have to include Rumours era Fleetwood Mac. I just read Mick’s autobiography and they lived an utterly ludicrous life back then, you know they had oxygen masks as part of a gig ritual?

Edith: Probably with The Libertines in the early 2000’s, driving around the UK playing tiny packed venues with lots of sweaty teenagers & the Likely Lads.

Jez: Prodigy (before they got old). Because the after parties would be fucking favorite. Also, you know they’ve probably got a mad tour bus.

Luke: Nirvana in Seattle during the early 90’s would be nuts, the birth of a subculture would make for some powerful parties. As for a venue, if I could walk on stage at a packed out KOKO I would lose my shit!

Edith: There’re some great videos of bands playing the Astoria back in the day. So maybe there cause it no longer exists! But really with the libertines I’d want them playing in my living room, trashing the place.

Dan: Dream venue has to be Brixton Academy – it’s definitely the holy grail for new bands and I’ve seen some of my favorite artists come of age there.

Jez: Fabric, because it’s topical.

Dan: We’d have to stop in NYC, it’s my favorite city and I’ve already had some mad times there – plus the majority of our listeners come from NYC and LA, so I’m convinced it would be beyond loose.

Edith: London. Ideally, we’d start in centre and The Libertines could sing ‘You’re My Waterloo’ to me and I’d just stand there in tears.

Jez: Boston, so I can hang out with Mark Wahlberg…although he’s probably in LA, fuck it…change that to LA.
