A dream tour for Fox Wilde would mean we’d have to jump back a few years. We are huge fans of the 60’s and 70’s, a lot of the music that came out of that era has influenced us tremendously. Bands like Zeppelin, The Stones, and The Beatles, all played a big role in our musical background, not to mention, they were all quintessential rock stars. We may be worlds apart when it comes to the recording process and how we achieve the sounds we do, but one factor remains, the music is what matters.

The Rolling Stones would probably be our first pick to tour with for so many reasons. They really changed the game when it came to touring. The stage presence and energy alone would be enough to get a crowd of tens of thousands on their feet. Add catchy rock n roll songs that have the fans singing word for word, and you’ve got yourself a pretty perfect rock show. We wouldn’t go as far as to say that we have similar moves like Jagger, infectious guitar riffs, and memorable hooks, but we definitely have looked to the Stones for each one of those flavors in our art.

Zeppelin, ‘cause who doesn’t love a little Jimmy Page guitar shredding, and John Bonham’s led foot to wake the audience up. Two flavors that we love to try and emulate in our music. Demitri, being a drummer at heart, adopted the same hard and steady beating that Bonham so effortlessly made his signature. We make sure our music has that steady and sturdy groove, along with the occasional long lost art of a guitar solo.

Last and definitely not least, The Beatles. The creators behind some of the all time greatest songs ever written; songs that broke the mold of traditional Rock’n’Roll, yet were still as memorable as ever. Every song The Beatles wrote had a purpose and had a story. That is exactly what we try and do with every song we write. They were diverse in their writing, but also wrote songs that you knew came from them, no matter how different it was from the last. They had an undeniable sound.

The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin; they may be a little out of date and the members may have grown older, but their music stood the test of time. That is why our dream tour would be with the three of our biggest influences.

Keep up with the duo on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
