Franklin Lake – CRAZY TOUR STORIES

In this Crazy Tour Stories segment, the pop duo, Franklin Lake, talk about some of their crazy moments from touring. You can check out the feature, after the break.

Three years of touring and the memories keep growing and the incidents still happen. We have a great team who make sure everything goes to plan, however, even the best laid plans can go wrong.

We were on our way back from tour during a really cold winter the van was packed with snacks and soft drinks and a couple blankets and pillows. while driving down the motorway the van started smoking from the engine and car’s were flashing us like we couldn’t see what was happening DUH !!

We pulled over to the side and could see the water had been leaking out of the vehicle. We knew we had to find water for the engine so we were waving down cars with no luck, so we ran over to the giant signs and climbed up the ladder and carried on waving for help EUREKA another van pulled over we ran towards it cheering and yelling like cavemen and whoever was in that van must of taken one look at us and thought we were off our heads and they drove off.

We had to admit defeat and grabbed the blankets from inside the van and sat in the bushes by the side of the motorway and ate all the crisps and snacks freezing our butts off to wait for a recovery truck that finally arrived and told us the van was a right off and towed us the rest of the way home a three hour journey with someone who looked like he would murder us.
