Franky – FIRST CONCERT EVER

In this First Concert Ever segment, the electro pop artist, Franky, reveals the story behind the first concert she ever went to. You can check out the story, after the break.

My first ever concert was actually S club 7 when I was about 6 years old because everyone had a soft spot for S Club!! Me and my mum got a big white sheet and cut a banner out of it and wrote ‘I love S Club 7’ on it (or something similar to that). We spent ages painting it and putting glitter on it and turned up to the concert with this huge banner. Looking back everyone behind us must have absolutely hated us but when you’re a die-hard fan at about 6 years old that is not on your mind haha!

The video camera was going around the crowd during the concert showing fans on the big screen when it came to me and my mum! We were jumping up and down with this huge homemade glittery banner that dedicated my absolute love to the group when my mum realized we were holding it UPSIDE DOWN!! After we realized we started scrambling around with this white sheet to put it the right way up, I can only imagine what we looked like. As soon as we got it the right way up THE CAMERA MOVED!!

As I was quite young for my first concert there isn’t a huge amount of it that I remember but sadly the humiliation of that moment has stayed with me.
