Future Thieves – DREAM TOUR

Hello all! Nick here, I’m the bassist and sandwich artist of Future Thieves. I’ve collected a few opinions from each of the rest of the boys, and we have come up with our dream tour list with a few reasons why.

However, we’d like to say that we’ve been very fortunate up to this point to have been surrounded by terrific musicians who we’ve toured with. Every time we leave Nashville and hit the pavement, we are floored by the talent we play with each night.

Now…to the nitty gritty. My personal favorite band to tour with would be Pearl Jam. I’ve always loved their music but never been obsessed or even been to a show, but I used to grab every live concert they would put out in stores and blare it on my stereo at home. I couldn’t believe how vastly different each set was, and later found out the guys come up with a set list moments before the show. That impressed me so much and every live show I hear I still can’t believe how smooth they are. I’m sure their stories would be excellent to hear as well, even if Eddie doesn’t climb the rafters anymore.

Austin here! I play lead guitar and carry most of the hair duties in the band. I would love to tour with The 1975. Their stage setup is just ridiculously cool and for me, their songs never get old. We’re around the same age too, so I think we’d get along well.

Gianni here, I am the drumstickler of the band. So my dream band for us to tour with would have to be My Morning Jacket. That band has put on some of the best shows I’ve ever seen. I’ve had the chance to play with the bass player in a session recently and it was a real honor and pleasure. Also, Nick and Elliot have roots in Louisville as most of the members of MMJ do as well.

Elliot here now…I am the singer and rhythm guitar/keys for the band. I’m also the only one who goes jogging. My dream band to tour with would be Death Cab for Cutie. I’ve been a fan since the early 2000s and they just keep putting out insanely good music. I love seeing bands like that progress and continue to release material that challenges them and the listener. I would love to nerd out with Ben Gibbard :)
