Get Excited For Vans Warped Tour 2016 With Too Close To Touch

The alternative band, Too Close To Touch, lets you know what bands they’re most excited to see on Warped Tour this summer. You can check out their picks, after the break.

a. Good Charlotte – Collectively, Good Charlotte was a band that we all listened to. I remember first hearing about them when I was around thirteen, so they even pre-date high school for most of us which means a lot of screaming lyrics of nostalgia this summer.

b. The Word Alive – We are very excited to have the opportunity of touring with out friends in The Word Alive. We’ve crossed paths with them on various tours, but we’re stoked to hang and watch their set all summer.

c. Yellowcard – Everyone in Too Close has gone through a YellowCard phase at one time or another. The record “Ocean Avenue” is one that we still jam in the van while we’re on tour, and holds a great deal of nostalgia for each of us.

d. State Champs – These guys are one of Travis’ favorite bands, so needless to say, he’s psyched to see them all summer. State Champs always put on a good show.

e. Atreyu – Atreyu was a very big influence on Thomas throughout early high school. Their record “Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses” was the first record he bought with his own money.

f. Waka Flaka (bonus) – Outside of our interest in Punk/Hardcore/Alternative music, we also listen to a fair amount of Hip-Hop, so getting to see Waka Flaka will be rad. We also just love the idea of Waka Flaka playing Warped Tour
