Sum 41
Being on Warped Tour is surreal enough. Not only do we get to be on the lineup (it still hasn’t quite hit most of us), but we get to watch Sum 41 for like 2 weeks straight. It goes without saying we all grew up listening to Sum 41, no doubt. Its great to see the fellow Canadian legends back in the state they are in, and we can’t wait to rock to our public school anthems we know and love (Baksh is back baby)!
Waka Flocka Flame
I don’t think I can honestly say I would ever see Waka Flocka live in any scenario except this, and I think it’s things like this that make Warped Tour a special experience. The diversity in music on Warped is huge, and we plan to embrace and experience as much music as we possibly can, genre barriers aside. Regardless I can GUARANTEE you we will be there every day for those ridiculous Flocka bangers.
Four Year Strong
A high school staple for most of us, Four Year Strong is a powerhouse rock band that has steadily evolved through the years but haven’t lost an ounce of their energy, especially live. I cannot deny I am excited to get nostalgic to a couple of their old tunes, but their recent Kurt Ballou produced effort rules and has turned me on to them once again. We’re beyond excited to see them every night. Lucky for us, we also get the privilege of playing a string of Western Canadian shows with them on our way back home after Warped Tour finishes!
Every Time I Die
I’ve always they’ve been one of the coolest bands to come out of their genre, whatever you want to call it. When Gutter Phenomenon came out is when I got hooked on them, and then The Big Dirty just solidified that. I saw them a while ago in like a 100 cap, sweaty room and it was insane. Such high energy, so much alcohol.
Old Wounds
A band I recommend everybody sees this summer. First saw them probably two years ago when they were on tour with our friends in Exalt. They played a tiny art space in this small town and put on an absolutely wild show. They’re heavy as hell, pure headbangs for days.
Keep up with the band on Facebook and Twitter!
