Glasslands – TOUR TIPS

In this Tour Tips segment, the rock duo, Glasslands, give you some advice for being on the road. You can check out the feature, after the break.

Josh Kincheloe – Vocals:
1. My number one tour tip is to bring ample amounts of socks and underwear! You never know when you’ll be able to do laundry next so I always bring every piece that I own and then some. Nothing stinks up close quarters living more than nasty socks!

2. Baby wipes! Showers can sometimes be few and far between, especially if you’re saving money by not getting hotels. This is the next best solution to keeping it fresh.

3. If you tour in a van, Starbucks is an excellent place to go in the morning to do all your duties. You can even use their bathroom sink as a shower if you’re desperate and have no baby wipes left. I’ve spent many an hour lounging around using their internet on off days.

Brandon Mullins – Drummer:
1. Unlimited data plan is super important. Being able to post on Instagram so everyone knows what you ate for breakfast and being able to watch Netflix is a huge deal.

2. I second baby wipes. You can’t always find a show so sometimes it’s nice to clean up with some wipes. That and some dryer sheets to shove in shoes and laundry bags to keep the smell under control.
