Mid-Tour Report

We were going to talk about the last few shows, kind of complain about them, go off about some things. But why step on a pile of shit? You just end up with shit on your shoes. So instead, let’s just say that we really want to thank everyone who came out to our Battle Creek show: the members of EAPZ, the bartender, club owner, and sound guy. EAPZ had it worse than we did, since there are less of us and more of them. It takes a special kind of band to admit they played for no one. Go ahead and define special however you want to.

Columbus was fun as always. Saw a lot of old friends and played at the always awesome Carabar.

Chicago was excellent. My only regret was that I did not buy Kate Bush’s Hounds of Love on vinyl at the Reggie’s record store. We had a sleepover at our original bass player’s house, where he introduced us to a liquor called Malort. It’s horribleness was rivaled only by our show the next night in Battle Creek.
