HAWK – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, Sam Campbell of the alternative band, HAWK, lets you know who he would like on his ultimate tour lineup. You can check out the feature, after the break.

My Dream Tour lineup would be an amalgamation of every member of bands from the Seattle grunge movement* along with the living (and ideally resurrected dead) members of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Doors and The Beach Boys.
There would be no running order each night as we traveled across North America, yet we would all play the most unbelievably slick and flawless sets each night. Starting in Washington State we would make our way south towards L.A. playing venues with a maximum capacity of a few hundred, cos that’s where all the best parties happen. All those poor souls fleeing Trump’s totalitarian uprising would pack up their worldly possessions and join us on the road. From California, we would travel along the border of Mexico so that all Mexicans can join the fiesta too.
By now the 74% of eligible voting Americans who did not vote for Donald Trump would be following us in convoy as we zigzagged through the U.S. until we made it to New York. Each night the shows would become more and more mind-meltingly amazing as we grew as a collective. Dancing would spread through streets with all the love and raucous music being made in staunch rejection of the hate and fear being spread by the Man, man.
Arriving in New York, we would all board the ghost of the Titanic to play one long continuous concert to all aboard and the thousands of neighboring vessels fleeing the U.S. until we all reached the Titanic’s last port of call, Cobh in the People’s Republic of Cork, bai.
NOTE: Nirvana was not actually from Seattle, but I guess they can come along too.

Keep up with the band on Facebook and Twitter!
