Here At The End – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the metalcore band, Here At The End, reveals who they would want on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks, after the break.

A ‘Dream Tour’ is something I feel like we joke about quite often but realistically would drop whatever we’re doing to get on that bill.

Cloudkicker – This guy opened us up to the idea that we might not have to rely on a singer or huge production budgets for us to release awesome music that would still result in an emotional connection to our music. Sure, Explosions in the Sky and Russian Circles were already touring and creating these massive soundscapes, but the attention to dynamics and the juxtaposition between aggression and beauty resonated with us from the very beginning.

Next, Darkest Hour – This has been one of our favorite bands for over ten years and Nick has almost died at a few of their shows…not sure if he’d make it out alive if we were on the same lineup. Undoing Ruin and Deliver Us still hit us the way they did more than a decade ago and I’m sure we wouldn’t flinch at the opportunity to quit our day jobs to tour Europe with these guys (throwing Unearth in here too for good measure).

Last, Thrice – Can’t beat these guys when it comes to songwriting and incredible live performances. Vheussi reigns supreme as one of the most influential releases to us and will always hold a top spot in our hearts. Considering the fact that we’re also an Orange County band drives it home that we’d love to share the stage with some of our long-time heroes. Honestly, these guys are pretty much the reason we’re still playing guitar and writing music. We’ll feel content on throwing in the towel if we ever get the chance to be on the same stage.

Anyway, these guys plus some of our more recent favorites (Plini, Fallujah, Chon, Intervals) would pretty much take the cake for us!
